Dr. Alisa Sandoval was born and raised in Texarkana where she graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2014. She continued her undergraduate journey in Texarkana and graduated from Texas A&M University - Texarkana in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in chemistry and pre-health. She then relocated to Baton Rouge, LA when she was accepted in the Veterinary class of 2022 at Louisiana State University. After 4 years of being away from home, she is excited to be back and begin her career with Westridge Animal Hospital. 

Prior to starting veterinary school, Dr. Sandoval met her now husband, Christian Sandoval whom she married during her 3rd year of school in 2021. Soon after graduation, they welcomed their first child - Elijah. 

In her free time she enjoys traveling to different areas of Arkansas to hike with her family and enjoying nature. She also loves to be home with her multiple pets: 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 bearded dragon.
