Dr. Pyfer is a proud Navy veteran and graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She comes to Westridge Animal Hospital with two years of experience in mixed animal practice and is excited to now focus her career in small animal medicine.

She was raised in a family with deep roots in the horse racing industry, where her love and passion for animals began at an early age. Dr. Pyfer’s primary goal as a veterinarian is to be an advocate for her patients who cannot speak for themselves and to educate owners to create a better understanding of animal health and preventive care.

Her professional interests include surgery and wound management, and she believes in treating each patient as an individual, offering the best possible medicine tailored to their needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Pyfer enjoys reading, baking, and lifting weights.
